Solar Panels Utilize HIT® Technology

WHAT IS OUR NEW TECHNOLOGY?

SANYO’s HIT® solar panels are a leader in cell and module efficiency, and illustrate SANYO’s “Think GAIA” vision of creating products we need to live in harmony with the Earth. New technological improvements including higher conversion efficiency, less vulnerability to high temperatures and enhanced construction make the SANYO HIT® solar panels among the most efficient panels in the solar market today. Our powerful HIT® modules are ideal for grid-connected solar systems, areas with performance-based incentives, and renewable energy credits.

Bifacial effects of HIT double

WHAT SETS US APART?

SANYO’s HIT® solar panels feature SANYO’s proprietary HIT® technology — hybrid solar cells with single crystalline silicon surrounded by ultrathin amorphous silicon layers. The unique structure minimizes defects within the p/n junction of the cell, producing highly efficient cells capable of achieving up to 23% light-conversion efficiency. Using HIT® cells enables customers to obtain maximum power generation per square foot.

HIT® cells offer superior temperature characteristics compared to conventional crystalline silicon cells. The result is more energy produced at higher temperatures. All HIT® panels come with a power guarantee at the time of purchase to ensure customers get what they paid for (or more).

WILL IT SELL?

HIT® Double bifacial solar panel captures both direct sunlight and reflected light from surrounding surfaces, generating electricity from both sides of the panel simultaneously. HIT® Double can increase the amount of electricity produced by up to 30% compared to single-sided HIT® panels depending on system design, location and albedo. HIT® Double panels open up new solar system design possibilities for many customers, including carports, awnings, trellises, walkways, porch and deck coverings, etc. The HIT Power N® solar panels are able to provide more solar power generation per square foot and have enhanced materials for higher heat performance, including areas with monthly average high temperatures up to 115ºF.

With more kWh per rated watt, SANYO’s HIT Power N® solar panels are ideal for areas with performance based incentives, renewable energy credits and quickening return on investment.
